The Intergas Combi Compact ECO RF is a highly innovative type of hybrid combi boiler. This particular boiler is of Dutch origin. The dutch were the first country to take energy efficiency seriously. They are one of the leaders in condensing boiler technology. As we know condensing boilers are now a mandatory requirement in the UK. Intergas has 50 years experience in manufacturing of heating products.
The Intergas design is of unique and innovative prowess, in which they have created a unique 2 in 1 heat exchanger. Effectively this allows this particular hybrid combi boiler to work equally well as a system boiler, an open vent boiler, a water heater as well as a combi boiler. This particular combi boiler has no secondary plate heat exchanger, has no divertor valve, no divertor valve motor and no auto-airvent. This 4 items cause a huge problem especially in areas such as london, where there is a high level of limescale and generally dirty systems.
This particular model is a premium version compared to Intergas’s less featured Combi Compact HRE range. It is available in three power outputs, 24kw,30kw and 36kw. The ECO RF Range has a built in honeywell radio frequency wireless interface module for connecting Honeywell’s Wireless thermostats such as DT S92, CMS 927, or Intouch Remote monitoring kit and also potentially a host of other devices that can make use of the wireless interface in the future.
The ECO RF boiler also like all Intergas boilers, has an OpenTherm module / interface. This allows thermostats such as the OpenTherm enabled Nest Thermostat 3rd Generation, Honeywell Lyric and other OpenTherm controllers to produce more efficiency and comfort levels.
The only combi boiler in which the hot water will work even if the heating system is drained out. Other manufacturers boilers will only work if boiler is pressurised and flow and return are isolated at the boiler
Additional Benefits, Features and Advantages.
