How to Adjust the Flow Temperature on a Worcester Greenstar CDi Compact or Si Compact

Heating is the left knob with the radiator symbol. The drawing below is the usual Compact fascia.

This fascia has a display on the left, a heating knob marked min–max under the radiator symbol, and a hot-water knob on the right next to the pressure gauge. CDi Compact and Si Compact share this layout.

Worcester Greenstar CDi Compact control panel. The left knob is heating, the right knob is hot water.
  1. The left knob with the radiator symbol is heating flow. Leave the right tap knob if you only came to lower the heating.
  2. Turn the left knob towards min until the display shows the flow you want. Typical range is about 30°C to 82°C.
  3. Stop around 55°C if the house still warms. Add time on the programmer if rooms take longer to come up.

Look up your exact model on Boiler Manuals if the fascia does not match. Then return to the Worcester Bosch flow-temperature page or the Boiler Optimiser.
