How to Adjust the Flow Temperature on a Worcester Greenstar CDi Classic

The left knob is central heating. The right knob is hot water. The small display sits above the pressure gauge.

This older fascia has two rotary knobs under a blank centre panel, a small display and a pressure gauge on the right, and a row of buttons on the left. Heating is the left knob (radiator symbol).

  1. The left knob with the radiator symbol is heating flow. The right knob with the tap is hot water — leave that if you only came to lower the heating.
  2. Turn the left knob towards the snowflake / min end. The display shows the flow while you turn.
  3. Stop around 55°C if the house still warms. Add time on the programmer if rooms take longer to come up.

Look up your exact model on Boiler Manuals if the fascia does not match. Then return to the Worcester Bosch flow-temperature page or the Boiler Optimiser.
