How to Adjust the Flow Temperature on a Potterton Titanium or Gold Combi 2

Heating is the left knob with the radiator symbol. Titanium and Gold Combi 2 share this fascia with the current Baxi Combi 2 range.

Potterton Titanium and Gold Combi 2 use the same BDR control as the current Baxi 200–800 Combi 2: radiator knob on the left, display in the middle, hot-water knob on the right, four round buttons underneath.

Potterton Titanium or Gold Combi 2 control panel. The left knob with the radiator symbol is heating.
  1. The left knob with the radiator bars is heating flow. Leave the right tap knob if you only came to lower the heating.
  2. Turn the left knob towards minus until the display shows the flow you want. Typical range is about 25°C to 80°C.
  3. Press the tick button (F4) to store it, or wait a few seconds and it stores on its own.
  4. Stop around 55°C if the house still warms. Add time on the programmer if rooms take longer to come up.

Look up your exact model on Boiler Manuals if the fascia does not match. Then return to the Potterton flow-temperature page or the Boiler Optimiser.
