Intergas Heat Curve

With an outside sensor fitted, the boiler sets the heating flow from the outside temperature. These four points are the curve.

Intergas heating line. X is outside temperature in °C. Y is supply temperature in °C. Line A runs from 80°C at about −7°C outside down to 25°C at about 25°C outside. Line B starts at 60°C.
X is outside temperature, °C. Y is supply (flow) temperature, °C.

Below Tmin out the flow stays at Tmax. Above Tmax out it stays at Tmin. Between those outside temperatures the flow slides down the line. On an HRE or ECO RF, Tmax is the heating value set on the display.

HRE and ECO RF

HRE and ECO RF heat curve. Tmax is set on the main display. Tmin is parameter 5. Tmin out is parameter 6. Tmax out is parameter 7.
HRE and ECO RF. Tmax from the display. Tmin, Tmin out and Tmax out are parameters 5, 6 and 7.
  • Tmax CH — set on the display. Highest heating flow, used at Tmin out and colder.
  • Tmin CH — parameter 5. Lowest heating flow, used at Tmax out and warmer.
  • Tmin out — parameter 6. Outside temperature at the left-hand knee, where the flow reaches Tmax.
  • Tmax out — parameter 7. Outside temperature at the right-hand knee, where the flow falls to Tmin.

These are installer parameters. Confirm the numbers in the manual for the boiler in front of you before changing them. Gas work stays with a Gas Safe registered engineer.
