How to Adjust the Flow Temperature on an Ideal Logic Max

Heating is the MIN–MAX knob just to the right of the small screen. The far-right knob is MODE, not flow.

Logic Max has a pressure gauge, a hot-water knob, a small screen, a heating knob, then a MODE knob. It is not Logic / Logic+ and not Logic 2.

Ideal Logic Max control panel. The MIN–MAX knob right of the screen is heating.
  1. The MIN–MAX knob immediately right of the screen is heating flow. Leave the tap knob to the left of the screen, and leave MODE as it is.
  2. Turn that heating knob towards MIN to lower the flow. Typical range is about 30°C to 80°C. The mark on that knob is the economy setting.
  3. Stop around 55°C if the house still warms. Add time on the programmer if rooms take longer to come up.

Look up your exact model on Boiler Manuals if the fascia does not match. Then return to the Ideal flow-temperature page or the Boiler Optimiser.
