How to Adjust the Flow Temperature on an Ideal Logic or Logic+

Set the heating flow with the radiator knob (MIN–MAX). The video takes it from 75°C down to 55°C.

This fascia has a pressure gauge, a hot-water knob, a central display, a heating knob with MIN–MAX, and a MODE knob on the right. It is the usual layout on Logic, Logic+ and Logic C combis. It is not Logic 2, which has the heating knob on the far right and no MODE knob.

Ideal Logic and Logic+ control panel. The radiator MIN–MAX knob is heating.
  1. The heating knob is the one with the radiator symbol and MIN–MAX. Leave the tap knob if you only came to lower the heating. Leave MODE as it is.
  2. Turn the radiator knob until the display shows the flow you want. Typical range is about 30°C to 80°C.
  3. Stop around 55°C if the house still warms. Add time on the programmer if rooms take longer to come up.

Look up your exact model on Boiler Manuals if the fascia does not match. Then return to the Ideal flow-temperature page or the Boiler Optimiser.
