Vaillant F29 fault code repair

F29 Meaning:

Failure during operation: Re-ignition unsuccessful

F29 Causes:

According to the Vaillant Installation and Service book, the F29 fault code means  ‘Gas supply temporarily stopped, flue gas recirculation, condensate duct blocked, defective earthing of product, ignition transformer has spark failure’

Statistical chances of faults

1. 40% Approx chance of Gas Supply Fault
2. 33% Approx chance of Gas Valve Fault
3. 30% Approx chance of other reasons being at fault.
