You may be guided through the fault finding sequence or steps, for rectifying your boiler with this fault code. Suggested repair solutions may be provided by a link to a repair page. NB Some fault codes are only applicable to a specific range of boilers only.

ONE RED FLASHSensor Error: Sensor Fault, Temperature Fault Or Flow FaultCheck The Wiring; Check That The Sensors Are 12kohms @ 25 degrees c ; Check That The Sensor is fitted into toe pocket; Check that the AAV is open; Check that the system is full of water and any air cleared; Check that the pump is running and that the flow and return is the right way round. Check for blockages in the system.
2 RED FLASHESBoiler Overheat TrippedVent The Air In The Heating System; Check The Water Pressure; Check continuity across the overheat stat and that the A.P.S is operating (if fitted); Check The Circulation (Direction, Pump, Valves); Check The Wiring; Check System Pressure and That System Is Not Air-Locked.
3 RED FLASHESIgnition Fault. Boiler Has Failed To Light After 5 AttemptsCheck The Wiring; Check The Supply Pressure; Purge The Gas Supply To Remove Air; Check for spark at electrode; Check Ignition Electrode Condition and Clean/Replace If Necessary; Check Gas Valve is opening; Check Condensate Drain For Blockage.
4 RED FLASHESFan FaultIf fan is not running check for power to gas air unit; if the fan is running check A.P.S (if fitted) has operated. Check flue for blockages.
5 RED FLASHESParameter Or PSU ErrorPCB And Condition Of Wiring Loom; Replace PSU And Recommission; Check The Wiring.
FLASHES RED 6 TIMESMiscellaneousCheck All Wiring Connections Are Correctly Made; If Necessary Replace PU And/or Control/Fan Assy.
